Tube bending<\/h2>\n

Cold bending is a traditional method for bending tubes and giving them a specific function or appearance. It is also the most commonly used method for bending tubes in serial production. The process involves pulling the tube through a hollowed out curve template, using a drawbar that has been hollowed out in the opposite direction as a lever. The drawbar and template form a \u201ctunnel\u201d that stops the tube flattening at the bend point. In order to ensure that the tube retains its shape at the bend point, we also use a mandrel that is specifically adapted for the inner diameter of the tube.<\/p>\n

Compared with other production methods, such as cutting and joining tube parts, bending is a rational and cost-effective production alternative. Bendex has the tooling, the expertise, and the experience required to achieve a good result.<\/p>\n
