Welding<\/h2>\n

At Bendex, welding is done either in robot cells or at manual welding stations. We primarily use the MIG\/MAG welding method for materials such as steel, stainless steel, and aluminium. Depending on the design of the part, it may be more appropriate to use robotic welding, even where only small volumes are involved. A part that has many welding points and takes a long time to weld may be a prime candidate for automated processing, even where production runs are short. Compared to manual welding, we often find that robotic welding cuts cycle times by 66% or more.<\/p>\n

We have extensive experience and large capacity in respect of robotic welding, and we weld using both traditional methods and the latest technology.<\/p>\n

This is MIG\/MAG<\/h4>\n

MIG\/MAG welding is the most commonly used welding method. This is due in no small part to its high level of productivity and the fact that it is a process that is relatively simple to automate. The underlying principle involves continuously feeding a metal wire to the welding point where it is melted using an electric arc. The metal wire works as both an electrode and additive. In order to achieve a high quality weld, it is important to correctly adjust parameters such as voltage, wire feed speed, and protective gas flow.<\/p>\n

TIG<\/h4>\n

TIG welding uses a non-melting wolfram electrode. An additive can be introduced in the front part of the melt bath if necessary. This method produces a clean and high quality weld, primarily because no slag is produced.<\/p>\n

A safe working environment<\/h4>\n

For us, it is important that our employees work in a safe and secure working environment. That's why our premises are equipped with good ventilation and a well-developed air extraction system and, when we recycle ventilated air, we also ensure that any metals are filtered out.<\/p>\n
